Con goles de Osaze de Rosario, Alex Roldán y Paul Rothrock, los de Washington se impusieron con autoridad y el escándalo final se apoderó de la escena, con una pelea generalizada, piñas de un lado y del otro y con un impotente Luis Suárez escupiendo a un miembro del cuerpo técnico rival.
